I'm a mum of two grown up sons and nana to three grandchildren. I work in a very busy high street bank. I became a cherished volunteer in April 2015 after seeing a 'can you knit/crochet SOS'. I am fortunate to have never endured the pain of losing a child. I was taught to knit 50years ago by my gran and used YouTube to learn how to crochet. It's my way to de-stress in the evenings whilst doing a little something to help the bereaved parents. I love being part of the Cherished Gowns Family.
Cherished Gowns Say:
As you can see from the pictures Lynda's beautiful knitted and crochet items are made with such love. Although we had an amazing response to Yvonne Trimble's Story which went viral all over the world, as well as nearly all the UK media, here is the link to the ITV coverage, the Independent and The Daily Mail, we are always in need of more volunteers
